TV ohh TV...

I am the oldest of three girls in my family. My sisters are at the age of 12 and 8, probably the most abnoxious age for a teenage sister. My parents are obsessed with Indian channels on Dish Network. My grandpa, oh we can't forget him, sits in my living room all day watching Indian News channels. To add a little spice, he occasionally watches English news, although he has no idea what they're saying.

My sisters' taste:

Phineas and Ferb is probably the most annoying show ever. "There's a 104 days in summer vacation..." I wish I could just rip the nose of the lead character and give it to hungry dogs to eat.

My parents' taste:

Every Indian show is annoying. They ALL, and I mean ALL, consist of psycho Indian mother and daughter-in-law fights due to how much sugar to put in each meal. Oh no wait, maybe the oh so sweet daughter-in-law who was the biggest angel at the beginning of the show suddenly turns into an evil witch who shuns the whole world. It's SOO FAKE AND SO REPETITIVE. IT HAPPENS IN EVERY SHOW! Indian television is a joke basically.

My grandpa's taste:

Okay, first of all, Indian news channels are repetitive as well. India may be interesting, but not that interesting that you have new news to play 24 hours a day. You see the Prime Minister of India walk out of the plane ten times before they end that segment of the news. Thirty minutes of news is fine, yes you need to know what goes on in the world. You don't need to watch it 48 times to understand. Sheesh, grandpa...

Three years of change...

I remember when I was a freshman I always told myself that I'm going to go to college at least six hours away from home. As I've grown older, I realized that six hours would be extremely inconvenient. My range is getting smaller and smaller as I realize that six years without a true home will be horrible. Also, I wanted to go to a humungous school with thousands and thousands of students. Now, that I realize that going from an ity-bity stream to a big,bad ocean. Knowing myself, I'll probably be lost amongst the crowd.

LiiiKE OR DISLiiiKE

I hardly ever not like a movie. I happen to like most of the movies I watch. Unfortunately, I haven't seen many movies lately, Indian or American. The last REALLY REALLY REALLY well made movie I saw was actually last year, (also the last Indian movie I've seen) was called Ghajini. It's basically a remake of the American film "Memento". Awesome storyline. American movies-The last one I've seen is G.I.Joe. Channing Tatum is obviously eye candy. I liked it, honestly, and am itching to see the next one.
