America's Got Talent is by far the worst show on tv that i have had the misfortune of watching.  The problem with this show is that most if not all of the contestants on the show have little or no talent. They all do mediocre jobs on things that are not hard.  This show really tries to make talentless idiots seem like people who have an awesome skill. The name of the show should be :AMERICA LACKS TALENT

there are a lot of things that are high on my priority list that I never would have imagined that I would ever even think about when I was a freshman.  The most important things to me now are my grades.  I never thought that I would even care about what my grades were when I was a freshman, but through the years, my academic success quickly climbed high on my priority list.  Another thing that is important to me is COLLEGE APPLICATION!!! I have been trying to apply to numerous colleges over the past few weeks but it is so much harder than I would have ever expected when I was a freshman.  Between writing application essays and filling out whole pages of information about me, my hands are pretty full.  These things that are important to me now are not things that I would have imagined to be important four years ago but they are proving to be very important now. I guess its because i'm thinking more about my future now than i did when i was a freshman.....

Well I didnt really read that much over the summer mainly because I don't like reading. I simply can't stay concentrated long enough to read a long book so I just try to completely stay away from reading. Mount Carmel is pretty boring and for the most part dead so there isn't really that much to do over the summer. However, I did find good ways to spend my time over the long summer and I definately wasn't bored. I don't think that reading is necesarily a way to "escape" Mount Carmel but i guess it could be a good way to spend your time if you don't have anything to do.

MOVIES

I saw a number of movies over the summer. Some of them were soooooo good, some of them were pretty bad and some were just plain ugly. The Time Traveler's Wife was pretty good. I mean it was pretty girly and even border line "gay" but it was entertaining. I almost cried (JUST KIDDING!!!). The Fast and the Furious was GREAT!!! I loved it because it was 100% action packed. As for Bruno, it was just plain UGLY. A few friends and I went to go see it this summer and I honestly wish that I had jsut stayed home that night. There were a few funnny parts but the majority of the moive was just plain WRONG. So I would definately not reccpmend anyone to go see it.
